The Expedition Loop
Every voyage follows the same rhythm: dispatch a ship, wait for a leg to complete, then choose. When your crew sends word from the fog, you see what they have banked, how battered the hull is, and what lies ahead. Return to harbor and keep your haul — or hold course and gamble for more.
The game is designed as an idle experience. Timers run while you are away. Notifications bring you back at the decision point — the moment where anticipation becomes temptation. That split second is the whole game.
Core Gameplay
Multi-Leg Voyages
Expeditions span up to three legs. Each leg takes real time. Danger escalates with depth — Leg 1 hooks you, Leg 2 tempts you, Leg 3 tests your greed.
Bank or Push
At every decision point, bank your cargo and return safely, or push onward. Unbanked cargo from the current leg is at full risk. What you already banked is partially protected — loss feels like consequence, not punishment.
Harbor & Fleet
Upgrade buildings, expand your fleet, and unlock new routes. Progression gives you more ships to dispatch and deeper waters to explore.
Atmospheric Danger
The fog speaks in flavor, not percentages. You read the crew's mood and the charts — never a cold odds display — so every push feels like a gamble, not a calculation.
Fair Monetization
The expedition loop is never paywalled. Monetization solves problems players already feel — usually time on a commitment they understand.
Always Free to Dispatch
Free players can always send ships on expeditions. There are no energy gates or daily dispatch limits blocking the core loop.
Voluntary Rewarded Ads
Watch an ad only when you choose to — typically to shave 30 minutes off a timer you are already waiting on. No forced interstitials.
Optional Black Pearls
Premium currency accelerates timers and unlocks convenience. It does not bypass the push-your-luck contract or reroll expedition outcomes.
Charters & Subscriptions
Charter slots unlock deeper routes and fleet capacity. Subscriptions renew access to premium expedition lanes — structural progression, not pay-to-win shortcuts.
