Skin Tracker: Photo Journal

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

Skin Tracker: Photo Journal is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

1. Data We Collect

None. The App does not collect personal information, usage analytics, crash reports, or device identifiers. There are no user accounts and no backend servers operated by us.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Visual skin entries (names, body locations, notes)
  • Photos you capture within the App
  • Check-in logs and reminder settings
  • App preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to enable cloud backup.

3. Cloud Backup (Optional, Premium)

If you choose to enable cloud backup, your photos are synced to your personal cloud storage account (Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive). The App accesses your cloud storage through official APIs with your explicit authorization.

  • We do not have access to your cloud storage credentials.
  • We do not operate any intermediary servers — data flows directly and securely between your device and your personal cloud provider.
  • You can disconnect cloud backup at any time from the App Settings.

Your relationship with your cloud provider is governed by their own privacy policies:

4. Third-Party Services

RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

The App uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes billing data through Google Play and may collect:

  • An anonymous app user ID (which is not linked to your identity)
  • Purchase and subscription status

RevenueCat does not have access to your photos, journal logs, or any health-adjacent data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Google Play Billing

In-app purchases are processed directly by Google Play. Google's data practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policy.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or request data from children.

6. Data Deletion

Skin Tracker: Photo Journal is a local-first application and does not store personal accounts. To delete all your local data and cloud backups, open the app, go to Settings > Manage My Data, and tap 'Clear Local Data' and 'Clear Cloud Data'.

Alternatively, you can delete your data by:

  • Deleting individual entries or photos within the App
  • Clearing the App's data in system Settings
  • Uninstalling the App

If you have enabled cloud backup, synced files remain in your cloud storage until you delete them manually or use the 'Clear Cloud Data' option in the App.
